Role: German Social Media Support Agent

Location: Lisbon - office based

Salary: €18,500 gross p/a (this includes baic salary plus fixed language bonus + Transportation allowance: 720 € per year (paid in 12 instalments) + Meal allowance of 7.63 € net per working day

Working hrs: Mon-Fri between 9 to 6 

Relocation package: if relocating - 2,500€ gross relo bonus paid out with 1st salary payment

We’re hiring a German-speaking Social Media Support Agent to join a fast-growing multilingual team supporting a well-known video sharing platform. 

As a German-speaking Social Media Support Agent, you will provide customer support via social media channels for a major video streaming platform. You will act as a key point of contact for users, ensuring high-quality service, efficient issue resolution, and an excellent customer experience.

This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.

What you’ll do 

• Provide professional and accurate customer support via social media channels
• Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution
• Deliver on key performance metrics including customer satisfaction, quality, efficiency, and first-time resolution
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for customer queries and escalations
• Identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for operational improvement
• Use innovative problem-solving techniques, including root cause analysis
• Serve as a consultant to internal, cross-functional stakeholders regarding the video platform product
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment

What we’re looking for 

• Fluent German and strong English, both written and verbal 
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Previous customer service experience is desired but not a must
• Background in Digital Marketing or Social Media Management (e.g. community management, content moderation, social media support) is a strong plus

Relocation Package and  Benefits

Full paid training will be provided. There is an excellent relocation package on offer which includes a relocation bonus of 2500 Euro. Besides this there are plenty of benefits including meal allowance, transport allowance, health insurance and life insurance.
