Your New Role
The Procurement Administrator validates supplier request and supplier registration questionnaires.
The Procurement Administrator will validate and distribute Purchase Requisitions (PR), create and follow up the Purchase Orders (PO) as well as processes tickets/issues for the responsible geographies and locations (factories and offices).
As a Procurement Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Submit/validate supplier request;
- Validate external registration questionnaire and escalate to the responsible category/ procurement manager;
- Maintain and validate master data and price list;
- Review quality of requisitions to confirm compliance to established buying channels (e.g., catalogues, existing contracts) - work cooperatively with internal requisitioners where needed to comply with procurement processes and procedures;
- Send valid PR’s to Buyer to execute event/ad-hoc buy;
- Update PR with revised bids (when applicable);
- Solve ticket issues;
- Create and review quality of PO’s to confirm compliance to established buying channels (e.g., catalogues, existing contracts) - working cooperatively with internal requisitioners;
- Actively participate in issue resolution for PO management;
- Manage the PO follow-up/confirmation process (order acknowledgement) - ensuring timely execution;
- Provide insight to improve system efficiency;
- Provide end user training as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
What you will need to succeed
- Degree/certificate with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement (or comparable professional education);
- Experience in similar or adequate role in procurement environment;
- Used to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing operational environment;
- Ability to manage deadlines;
- Deliver with quality and speed, foster learning agility in self and others, trust and empower;
- Global Perspective;
- Self-driven, Communicates Effectively, Team player (strong collaboration);
- Fluency in English and French - verbal and written.
