This is an exciting opportunity to build an in-house recruitment career within a growing organisation, as part of our partnership with Opel/Vauxhall. You will be responsible for providing a professional recruitment service and work in partnership with internal/external stakeholders to provide specialist advice and solutions that support the delivery of the business objectives.
This role is working in an extremely fast paced environment. The right person will be passionate about a career in recruitment, working within an established in-house recruitment team. This role requires tenacity, resilience, excellent communication skills and the desire to succeed.
Your day to day role:
You’ll be responsible for the recruitment lifecycle, from pre-selection, competency-based interviewing and assessments.
Actively looking for new ways to increase candidate pipelines and communicating these to European Recruitment Marketing Specialist.
Proactively supporting colleagues in the local and wider recruitment teams as and when needed.
Supporting hiring managers with recruitment activities for support roles.
Maintaining excellent standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Involvement in other projects/tasks as required to add value and continually improve the overall process.
Accurately recording and reporting on recruitment activities through various reporting tools as required.
Regularly meeting with key stakeholders to understand upcoming business requirements.
Ensuring ATS is regularly updated for all actions taken in relation to open requirements and candidate actions.
Providing timely updates to external stakeholders relating to any candidates received.
Meet weekly and monthly KPIs and escalating any issues when needed.
Regular reviewing current recruitment and selection processes.
40 hours within Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm, flexibility outside these hours may be required.
Have you got what we’re looking for?
You’ll have at least 12 months experience working within a fast-paced in-house recruitment team as a recruiter or resourcer.
Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communications skills.
Knowledge of UK employment legislation and best practice recruitment and selection.
Proven ability to multitask, plan and prioritise workload to ensure targets and deadlines are met.
Resilience and the ability to work on own initiative.
Able to take ownership and accountability to achieve deadlines and targets.
Able to work effectively in a fast-pace, dynamic and changing environment.
Able to recognise potential business improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated experience of working in a team-based environment supporting the team in achieving the highest quality standards and takes an active role in generating team morale.
Able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A second European language would be an advantage.
