German Speaking Customer Service Administrator (Non-Voice)

Saint Neots, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £23,000

  • This role is primarily dealing with administration, as such extensive call times are not to be expected. Please note in particularly busy periods you may be asked to fulfil Voice responsibilities.
  • Use bespoke Customer Care system software to enter data and process customer orders, taking prompt and appropriate action in accordance with internal procedures and ensuring all agreed Service Levels are met or exceeded.
  • Process receipts of, and requests for, payments (for Direct Debits and card payments) and preparation of associated paperwork in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Assist with new customers’ enquiries and set up of new accounts..
  • Ensure a proactive, flexible and positive approach at all times when handling customer requests.
  • Participate in the ongoing development of Customer Care and the wider business, and proactively contribute to personal learning and improvement.
  • Keep up to date with, and ensure a thorough understanding of, the Company’s products and business structure.
Requirements

This role requires administration, filing and organisation of documents necessary for Customer Care of German-speaking customers. There will be less phone work than in an average Customer Care position, however some may still be involved. As such, Fluent German and English, as well as the ability to translate documents between languages is essential.

Please note that the recruitment process will involve written translations as well as spoken conversations with English and German speakers.

You must have a friendly and professional approach to customer service.

Strong Administrative and Organisation skills.

Basic IT skills are essential.

A natural problem-solver would do well in this role.

Offer

Salary: £23,000

Shift Pattern: This 2,2,3 shift consists of working 37.63 hours per week (average) over a two week period. Working Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday off, then Friday, Saturday and Sunday on. The next week would be Monday and Tuesday off, Wednesday and Thursday on, then Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Lunch breaks will last 1 hour 15 minutes on working days.

Holiday: This role offers 21 days holiday increasing to 22.4 days after three years and 23.1 days after five years.

Relocation Package: This company offers a relocation package to all Customer Service candidates who live more than 50 miles away from their offices in Saint Neots. This includes: paying for a flight to the UK, travel from the airport to a hotel (usually a Premier Inn) and then paying for one month's accomodation there. You can send luggage ahead of time which will be stored safely by the company and the HR team are experts at assiting with finding new accomodation.
