Digital Content Evaluation for Cantonese

We are looking for native Cantonese speakers to join our team as Digital Content Evaluation Specialists. In this role, you will help set the standard for digital content, specifically for Cantonese as spoken in Hong Kong. You'll review real-world data to improve content quality across a wide range of platforms, including mobile and smart TV apps, AI assistant responses, and media like music, videos, books, and podcasts. Your work will directly impact the user experience for end-users worldwide.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable individuals eager to engage with language and technology.
Native fluency in Cantonese, with intimate familiarity with the language as spoken in Hong Kong.
Proficient in English (both written and spoken) to follow project directions and provide feedback.
Comfortable using modern technologies like streaming apps, smartphones, smart TVs, and AI.
A broad cultural literacy and media awareness across generations and demographics.
An understanding of digital content ecosystems and online community dynamics.
Must have a laptop or personal computer; mobile devices are not acceptable.
Previous experience in translation, localization, or linguistic quality evaluation is a plus but not required.

Geographic Requirements

This is a remote, freelance role open to candidates located in Hong Kong or Mainland China.

All work is freelance, offers flexible scheduling, and is ongoing based on project needs. The pay rate for this project is approximately $7 - $7.50 per hour, with an average of 4 hours of work per day. For some projects, candidates who get onboarded and complete 10 hours in the first week may receive a reimbursement for 1 hour of their evaluated hourly rate as part of a learning program.
