Czech or Slovak speaking Helpdesk Associate


Within Tesco Business Services and Technology, the Customer and Colleague Engagement Centre provides support for internal colleagues and external customers. The colleague support team receives IT and Product related queries while the customer team receives Clubcard, Tesco Online and general customer service related queries. Both teams are supported by an operational support team, to ensure an excellent customer experience and flawless operation. Altogether we are around 80 colleagues in the team and we provide support for Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

  • Ensure all contacts are answered efficiently and resolved as detailed in the operating processes
  • Deliver a great colleague service experience
  • Take ownership of the issue, and using my knowledge and behavioural skills to engage, understand, action and deliver with confidence
  • Escalate contacts efficiently, where required, to minimize the impact on customers
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the team, across the wider business and our partners
  • Spot opportunities to improve the process for the business
  • Graduate/High school education
  • At least upper-intermediate English, Hungarian and Czech or Slovak knowledge
  • Experience in Customer Service is an advantage
  • Strong Computer Skills
  • Experience of using MS Office (Excel, Word & Power Point)
