Overview.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well-organized and proactive individual ready to take on a new challenge within the International Operations Shared Project Services Team based in Lisbon. The jobholder will be supporting the Transition Manager with the management and development of a variety of projects across and outside Europe. Customer facing skills as well as communications skills are essential to efficiently perform the job position.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure successful transition and implementation of Xerox solution and seamless handover to live service delivery. Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) include 'time to revenue' and 'service availability'

  • Ensures compliance with procedures, quality controls and tools and drives process improvements as opportunities for cost reduction

  • Contributes to the development, sharing of best practice and lessons learnt and launch of new service offerings

  • Responsible for the delivery of project within required scope, milestones, quality and budget. May coordinate a team of identified resources assigned to the work package as well as managing agreed elements of the relationships with relevant stakeholder

  • Ongoing planning and co-ordination of the required resources needed to complete the work package on time and to budget in line with accepted industry practice (e.g. PMI or Prince 2) and ensure adherence to company guidelines and governance processes (e.g. BMPP and TMP).

  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders within Xerox, client or partner organizations, ensuring that the relevant stakeholders are informed of any significant risks or changes and in return obtaining the required decisions and direction to meet project timescales and costs

  • Accountable for the agreed elements of a project delivering the expected outcomes which are accepted by the customer(s) identified in the project initiation/planning artefacts, e.g. the business case, project initiation document, etc.

  • Ensure all project management deliverables (e.g. risk log, project plan, project documentation) are maintained and quality assured regularly by identified stakeholders.

  • Ensures regular reviews take place and that effective and rigorous change control mechanisms are used and scope changes are escalated and resolved appropriately

  • Respects and complies with customer specific processes and procedures agreed with Xerox

  • Coordinates customer related activities associated with specific work-packages, including due diligence, site level planning, installations and deployment. May be in charge of the technical/day to day operational relationship with the customer:

  • Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers

  • Ongoing and periodic monitoring of progress to ensure agreed objectives are delivered on time and within budget, and required results are realized


 

Requirements

Education and Background:

 

  • High School Diploma / (GED) / Secondary School GCSE or equivalent

  • Experience in successfully delivering projects to required scope, quality, timescale and budget

  • Experience of project work in a small to medium outsourced contract environment

  • Track record of delivering and working effectively (including remotely and virtually) as part of an extended project team

  • Proven experience of performing a previous customer facing role

  • Strong planning and Organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, while knowledge of German is an advantage

  • Ability to work within a multicultural and international working environment and as part of a flexible fast changing environment
