The FID Trade Management Group in Wroclaw is looking for an Analyst hire that will work closely with front office desks which are based on the trading floor in London to facilitate the smooth running of the Fixed Income businesses. This is a high-profile role providing control and support to the Front Office Traders and Salespeople. The position consists of daily trade capture and controls, query resolution, and Profit and Loss generation responsibilities.
What we do?
The European Fixed Income Derivatives (FID) Trade Management Group supports a range of desks to facilitate lifecycle management and execute processes across the following business areas:
European Credit Trading and Sales
European Interest Rate Trading
European Emerging Markets Trading
European FX Trading and Sales
Our main duties and responsibilities:
Participation in the core Trade Management functions including trade capture/validation, handle report monitoring, query resolution, client support, trading risk / Profit and Loss validation
Products include: Credit Default Swap (CDS), Bonds, Interest Rate Swap (IRS), Options, FX
Management and facilitation of all trade lifecycle events – e.g. Credit Events, Clearing, Internal Risk Transfers, Corporate Actions and Succession Events, Compression Cycles
Ownership, investigation and resolution of exceptions/fails/breaks raised by all Front-to-Back departments that support the business – e.g. Clients, Front Office, Brokers, Vendors, External Validation, Settlements, Collateral Management, Portfolio Reconciliation, Finance
Assisting in the implementation of strategic systems and vendor applications. This will involve User Acceptance Testing, on-boarding/go-live support, and implementing controls to minimise operational risk
Involvement in the implementation of industry and regulatory initiatives through participation in internal working groups and/or external market forums – e.g. Dodd Frank,European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR), Global Trade Repository (GTR), Central Counterparty Clearing House (CCP) Clearing
Regular collation and analysis of data for Management Reporting
The role is varied and requires a self-starter able to operate at all levels of the organisation covering varied issues and problem solving skills.
