Waiter

In Casa Cook we are looking for Waiters/Waitresses for our hotel, located in the island of Samos, one of the Mediterranean's most historically-rich surroundings. As a Waiter/Waitress, your tasks will be:

• Greet and seat customers in a courteous and timely manner.
• Present menus to patrons and answer any questions about menu items.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all items are prepared in a timely manner.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in accordance with established standards.
• Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns.
• Process customer payments using POS systems or manual methods.
• Clean and reset tables after customers leave.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down tables, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide excellent customer service.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to customers.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
