DESCRIPTION

Dow Benelux Integrated Center (DBIC) in Terneuzen is the international service provider for the DOW Chemical Company and the employer of more than 700 talented employees, representing more than 50 different languages and nationalities from all over the world. DBIC's strong and multicultural team supports the joint ventures in a wide range of areas, such as logistics, customer service, finance, human resources, translation and much more.

 

You will act as the first contact for workforce administration inquiries (through phone, chat, or eRequest) across various disciplines. The role is empowered to support and perform transactional activities required to enable HR business processes and drive a best in class Employee Experience. You act as a resource for less experienced staff.

Your responsibilities:

 

  • Acts as primary point-of-contact for workforce administration inquiries (via phone, chat, and eRequest), identifying and delivering solutions to employees and People Leaders
  • Delegates and escalates queries as appropriate, but remains responsible through completion
  • Tracks progress, and provides continuous feedback to requestors on status of their queries
  • Engage in improving Service Now Knowledge Base and Case Management content for their assigned discipline, based on experience
  • Supports oversight of service operations by responding to service demands as they arise (e.g., volume of calls, staff absence, chat and eRequest queries, etc.)
  • Engages in and drives overall continuous improvement processes (e.g., to reduce inquiry volume)

 

REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for this role are as follows:

 

  • Fluency in English and German
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Dutch HR practices is a bonus
  • Ability to live and work in the Terneuzen area

 

 

OFFER

A competitive salary, which is based on your CV. In addition, commuting expenses will be reimbursed at €0.19 per kilometer (up to a maximum of 75 kilometers one way). If applicable, Westerscheldetunnel passages are reimbursed at a T-tag rate.
