Do you use Google Maps to find the best local restaurants or hidden gems? Welocalize is looking for active Maps users in the India to join an exclusive, short-term project evaluating the future of personalized search recommendations.

In this role, you will use your own activity history to determine if search suggestions (like nearby dining or travel spots) are actually relevant and useful. You are the expert on what makes a "good" recommendation for someone with your interests.

Project Details

• Job Title: US Maps Personalization Specialist
• Total Volume: Estimated 5–6 hours (One-time participation per user).
• Location: Remote (Must be based in the India).
• Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor.

This Role Is For You If:

• You have an active Gmail account with a consistent history of using Google Maps.
• You are comfortable reviewing search results based on your own past activity (e.g., places you've visited or restaurants you've searched for).
• You are detail-oriented and can follow specific guidelines to rate the "relevance" of suggestions.
• You are looking for a high-paying, short-term freelance task.

Requirements & Privacy

• Privacy First: This project requires consent-based access to limited elements of your activity history. A full consent form and NDA will be provided for your review.
• Limited Participation: Due to the personalized nature of the task, participation is limited to a single project round.
• Communication: Certified raters will be added to our pool and contacted at least 48 hours before a project kickoff.
