Hey there! 👋
We’re Venuu – an online marketplace startup shaking up the way people celebrate life’s special moments. Every month, over 400,000 people use our platform to discover the perfect venues for their parties, meetings, and events. Originally from Finland, now operational in five countries, and we’ve just gotten started! 🌍
We’re now looking for a Swedish-speaking Junior B2B Sales & Onboarding Specialist to join our small team in Barcelona. This role is all about bringing new venues on board from across Sweden – and it’s a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the leap from call center sales or entry-level roles into a professional B2B setting.
In this role, you’ll own the entire sales cycle while selling a product that truly brings value to our partners' businesses. If you’re interested in tech startups where things move fast and the only constant is change, even better!
For Junior roles, we’re not looking for an extensive track record – we’re looking for the right attitude, energy, and potential.
Sound good? If so, keep reading!
Pssst! Before continuing, please note that fluent Swedish is required in this role (for your daily work with venue providers) along with good English (our internal language for training and meetings).
What You’ll Be Doing
🎯 Sales outreach: Identify new venue prospects (hotels, bars, restaurants, mansions…), reach out via email and phone, and close deals.
🏡 Onboarding & content creation: Set up new partners on the platform, create listings, and make sure they shine.
📈 Product demos: Walk new partners through the platform and show them how to get bookings.
📊 Pipeline management: Keep track of your prospects and follow-ups with discipline.
📞 Hitting targets: Work towards individual goals for calls, deals, and onboarding.
🤝 Collaboration: Work closely with your supervisor and teammates to grow Sweden together.
Who We’re Looking For
- 0–1 years of experience in sales – can be from internships, telemarketing or junior SDR/BDR roles where you worked with the early pipeline. This is an entry-level position so don’t worry if you don’t have extensive experience!
- Fluent Swedish (written & spoken) + comfortable using English as it’s our internal language.
- Confident on the phone – you’ve already beaten the “cold call fear.”
- Curious and coachable – you actively seek feedback from more senior colleagues and use it to learn fast.
- Gritty and growth-minded – you don’t give up after rejection and keep pushing to improve.
- Eager to learn B2B sales: handling longer cycles, booking meetings, negotiating contract terms and consultative conversations with decision-makers.
- Interested in tech startups and international business.
- Organized & consistent in following up leads and keeping your pipeline warm.
- Team player who enjoys building things together and keeping the vibe positive.
What’s on the table
- Start Date: Flexible, ideally early autumn
- Contract: Permanent with full-time hours (40h/week)
- Compensation: This role has a fixed salary which for entry-level employees is between 20,000€–24,000€ (annual gross) depending on the exact experience. After the first year, you’ll step into a mid-level role with a higher earnings bracket. In a small, ambitious company like ours, great work doesn’t go unnoticed, so in the long run only the sky is the limit.
- Location: Our centrally-located (Eixample) Barcelona office. We’re office-first because we believe it’s the best way to build a tight-knit, world-class team, but hybrid options are partially available after being onboarded.
- Team & Culture: Join 30 driven, international colleagues across Barcelona and Helsinki. We’re professional, but also informal, transparent, and supportive.
- Learning & Development: Structured onboarding, close coaching, regular feedback, and a personal learning budget to help you grow into a strong B2B sales professional.
- Fun & Community: Expect lunches, afterworks, and plenty of laughs (plus fierce ping-pong battles 🏓).
