DESCRIPTION
Workster is partnering with a leading company in business travel management, corporate credit cards, and expense solutions to hire an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant for a Portugal-based team.
In this role, you will support business clients with end-to-end travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rail travel, and additional travel services. You will ensure smooth travel experiences, assist with self-service tools, and ensure compliance with company and client policies.
Work model: Full-time – fully remote anywhere in Portugal or hybrid in Lisbon.
Your Responsibilities
- Support corporate clients via phone, email, and chat
- Efficiently assess customer needs and travel requirements
- Book and manage complex travel services: flights, rail, hotels, car rentals, etc.
- Assist clients with self-service travel platforms and apps
- Ensure compliance with agreed SLAs and quality standards
- Apply global travel and compliance policies
- Provide feedback on service improvements and relevant processes
- Participate in team meetings and discussions on industry trends
- Meet attendance and performance targets
Your Profile
- German C1 (spoken and written)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business travel consulting (flights, rail, hotels)
- At least 3 years of GDS experience (e.g. Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) – mandatory
- Experience in customer service or contact center environments is a plus
- Confident using tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce
- Willingness to work shifts (Monday–Sunday, 07:00–23:00)
- High level of independence, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Professional and empathetic communication style
- Additional languages (e.g. French, Italian, or Spanish) are a plus
