Description:

For our Ghent office, Showpad is looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer. As an IT Support Engineer you will be  managing and maintaining the global internal Showpad ICT infrastructure. You will be part of an international team (US-EMEA) responsible for helping your 250+ Showpad colleagues around the globe whenever they face an IT problem. In addition you will have a key role in assuring software, systems and network enable the organization to run smoothly and uninterruptedly and provide an enjoyable end user experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second level ICT support to your colleagues and help them onboard with corporate devices and tools
  • Manage, maintain and monitor the global internal & external (cloud) systems and infrastructure
  • Create infrastructure documentation and keep it up to date on a central documentation platform
  • Manage ICT assets and be responsible for provisioning devices via a Mobile Device Management solution like Airwatch, Jamf or others
  • Implement ICT policies and procedures
  • Manage your own ICT projects and take full ownership
  • Sync your activities and share your experience with an international team of support engineers
  • Work closely with the different business units to figure out the best setup/solution for their needs
  • Provide training to application users and managers
Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • A bachelor degree or higher in a Computer Science oriented study or an equivalent through experience
  • Good communication skills
  • All-round, jack-of-all-trades experience with a desire to work accurately
  • Experience with service desk systems and the ITIL framework
  • The ability to demonstrate 3 years relevant experience with networks, server management, virtualization, desktop management (mainly MacOS), network infrastructure, telecommunications, SSO, Enterprise Mobility Management Solutions and Cloud application management
  • Practical knowledge with creating and maintaining scripts in an ICT infrastructure
  • The ability to work flexible, independently as well as in a team
  • Passion for ICT, life and the Showpad product
  • The desire to grow yourself, your team and the company
  • The will to have a maximum impact on Showpad
