Spanish  Interpreter

Dals is currently seeking Spanish speakers to join our telephone/video interpreting service.

Who are we?

Dals is a language service provider working with Public and Private sector clients across the UK (e.g. NHS, local councils, international corporations).

We help non-English speakers access essential services, such as medical care, by providing interpreters of over 512 languages and dialects.

You will provide accurate telephone or video interpreting for our clients and non or limited English speakers. This will allow them to communicate with each other and exchange important information. This is a highly rewarding opportunity; you will need to be able to think on your feet and deliver great linguistic skills.

The type of calls will include but are not limited to:

• Medical appointments
• Meetings with public officials
• Legal matters and immigration meetings
• Social services
• Child protection appointments

This role is completely flexible - you can choose when and for how long you are available. You simply log into our telephone and video interpreting app.

As this is a freelance opportunity, you will be responsible for your own tax payments.

Any successful candidate must have the following:

• Right to work in your country of residence
• Qualifications/relevant experience
• Security clearance (if you have one) if you don't we can assist with this
• EU or UK residency
• Fluency in English and Spanish* We will conduct a telephone language assessment
