Celebrating International Women's Day With Women's Workforce Equality In Europe

International Women’s day is widely celebrated across Europe. It is a day dedicated to appreciating and celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Over the last decade, women have come a long way in terms of workplace equality and we are happy to enforce this girl-power attitude here at Europe Language Jobs.

Some of you may already be fortunate enough to work for a company or in a country that enforces workplace equality, but unfortunately for others, this isn’t the case. Thankfully, there are so many countries that you can to relocate to where the power of women is praised and celebrated and gender equality has become the complete norm.

5.  Iceland

4. Lithuania

Lithuania has shown great commitment to gender equality both socially and in the workplace. 3.  The United Kingdom 

The United Kingdom has been a leading country for gender equality for quite some years and still remains in the top 3 European countries.  2.  Bosnia

Bosnia has come along way over the past few years. Previously deemed as the worst place in Europe to be a woman, but thankfully Bosnia has overcome this sexist and unfair image and now stands tall at number 2. 

 

1. Spain

Spain is the number one place for women’s workforce equality. In 2018, Spain had the highest number of female ministers.
