Studying abroad is a great opportunity to explore the world, get to know a different culture, earn a degree at a world-class university in a foreign country and create memories for life with friends from all over the world. The Czech Republic lies in the heart of Europe which gives its residents a perfect chance to easily travel around the rest of the continent. If you’re considering studying in its capital city Prague or elsewhere in the country, make sure to check out the Czech Universities portal which can serve as your guide to choosing the right city, university, and major.
The history of Czech education and research dates to the 14th century. Czech higher education institutions offer a growing number of study programs and courses taught in foreign languages every year, especially in English. In 2019, there were over 45,000 foreign students enrolled at Czech universities and colleges. The Czech Universities portal provides international students with free information, guides, and articles on the country and various institutions, as well as paid complex assistance and relocation services for incoming foreign students.
The Czech Universities cooperate with private and public higher education institutions in the Czech Republic and provides necessary information for international students interested in studying in the country. At the portal, you can browse majors offered at Czech universities, read articles about Czech education, culture, expat jobs, or find tips on how to enjoy your stay in the country. You can also take a career test to find out which study program fits you the best. Furthermore, Czech Universities offer student services such as help with application forms, relocation, personal assistance, advice on accommodation, study programs, and insurance, etc.
The director of the Czech Universities, Lubomir Majernik, says that the main goal of the Czech Universities portal is to promote Czech higher education institutions abroad and to support the internationalization of the Czech higher education sector. The portal helps various Czech universities with marketing, brand building, and international recruitment of English speaking students. “The platform serves as a useful tool for international students in their search for international education on the global market and for Czech Institutions to address the global audience and to recruit English-speaking students,” explains Majernik. “We are happy to cooperate with Europe Language Jobs because the server helps foreign students and professionals to find an expat job in the country and thus accommodate better,” he adds.
You can also follow Czech Universities on Facebook to find out more about their latest news.
