Role Overview:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of ChromeOS within the French education market. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, with a focus on educational institutions, strategic partners, and government entities. 

Key Responsibilities:

Opportunity Identification: Identify and assess growth opportunities in the education market, considering the specific needs of schools, teachers, and students.
Account Management: Manage relationships with existing clients, anticipate their needs, and work towards expanding our presence within educational institutions with new prospects.
Training and Support: Coordinate the implementation of training programs for teachers and educational staff on the effective use of Google ChromeOS in the educational environment.
Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor the market, analyze competitors, and provide regular reports on emerging trends and opportunities.
Manage and expand relationships with key stakeholders, including Named Accounts (NALs), educational institutions, and partners.
Drive Revenue growth by achieving Qualified Pipeline targets of Google for Education solutions.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, focusing on quick wins and strategic, long-term growth through outbound sales demand generation activities (calls, cold calls, emails, and social media outreach). 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Partners &, marketing) to ensure alignment and efficient execution of plans.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written. Having lived or studied in France and gone through French Education System
Proven experience in business development, preferably in the education sector.
B2B Cloud Sales Experience: +5 Years of Large Enterprise or Key Strategic Account Management, with track record in Prospection, Business development and/or Outbound B2B Cloud or Tech SAAS Sales
CXO Stakeholder Management: Ability to Establish Network across CXOs from Top Public Sector entities while also manage internal relationships with National Head of Education
Leadership Skills: Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, manage people effectively, and delegate tasks.
Sales Acumen: A strong understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to qualify opportunities using frameworks like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).
Communication Skills: Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively and create win-win scenarios.
CRM Management: Diligently track and update lead fields in Salesforce and other systems, ensuring a seamless handoff to the sales team.
Technical Proficiency: Passion for cloud computing and AI in education, with a solid understanding of Google Workspace and Chrome OS. Profile must hold Tech-Cloud certifications
Proactive Initiative, autonomy: Accountability to manage Sales Agenda while driving impact with Hunting Mindset
Travel requirement: 50% role will be based in France, but will require to visit France multiple destinations regularly to position Google for Education solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the education sector, with a network of contacts in French educational institutions.
In-depth knowledge of the French education market and technological trends.
Experience with devices and saas distributors and resellers specialize in education collaboration.
