Job Title: Financial Account Manager - German Insurance Market

Overview:
We're actively searching for a self-driven and forward-thinking Account Manager with fluent German language skills with solid experience in the German insurance industry. This role is part of a closely-knit team with a strong focus on the European market, acting as representatives for an international financial services enterprise. As an Account Manager for the German Market, your primary responsibilities revolve around nurturing and fortifying existing partner relationships, as well as contributing to the development of cutting-edge products and marketing strategies within your domain. Additionally, you'll be a driving force in cultivating new business growth and forming strategic alliances with credit organizations, distributors, and financial institutions, all aimed at elevating the success of our non-life insurance product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
· Seek new partnerships with credit companies, distributors, and banks in alignment with the client's product portfolio.
· Contribute to the development of a comprehensive marketing strategy and product development across the perimeter.
· Develop and maintain partner relationships, fostering close ties with key individuals within each partner's organization.
· Manage your yearly budgets, planning and ensure that you’re managing your strategic plan in your area of expertise.
· Implement development initiatives and projects, leveraging internal expertise and external partners/agencies when necessary.
· Monitor and report on changes in consumer, legal, technological, and political environments affecting partners' credit and insurance activities.
· Monitor and report on the commercial activity of partners in each country, ensuring compliance with local market requirements and collaborating with Compliance & Control colleagues as needed.
· Propose, negotiate, and implement product development, marketing, and commercial activities related to product portfolio and collaborate with business partners to develop new products and present pricing proposals to the Underwriting Team.
· Attend Marketing and Development meetings, providing input for strategic decisions in your market and translate strategic objectives into actionable plans for implementation with partners.
· Facilitate best practices through information sharing, seminars, meetings, and action plans.
· Conduct onsite training programs as needed.
· Participate in developing annual business development plans and premium income forecasts with partners.
REQUIREMENTS
To thrive in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
• Hold a degree-level education or possess a recognized professional certification in a relevant field.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrate fluency in both English and German languages for effective communication.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational skills and a proven ability to manage and oversee projects.
• Showcase a track record of successfully managing client accounts and relationships.
• Be proficient in handling administrative tasks, including utilizing software such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Hold experience in one or more sectors such as Financial Services, Insurance Sales, Retail Banking, PPI (Payment Protection Insurance), Creditors Insurance, or Banking.
• Bring prior experience in a multicultural setting, ideally working across both the German and Irish markets.
• Possess knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards gained through previous work in the financial or insurance sector.
