Safety Content Writer

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading BPO that is looking to recruit a Safety Content Writers to join their offices in Lisbon. The writers will work with machine learning to improve a digital Virtual Assistant's language understanding capabilities.  

Position: Safety Content Writer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify and make sense of language patterns
• Rewrite and improve AI generated responses, adhering to safety categories that might include sensitive content e.g., sexual content, violent crime, drugs or alcohol and others
• Recognize patterns and meaning from composition of words of assigned language
• Process information to perform the task and to incorporate editorial review when applicable
• Ensure adherence to QA framework and participate in the QA process when applicable.

• High proficiency in German, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese or Indonesian language (writing and speaking), B2 English
• Able to use the specific writing guidelines for factuality, style, and formatting
• Background degree (in Journalism, Communications, Teaching, or a related field preferred)
• Experience with or being comfortable working on sensitive/objectionable content
• Writing experience in the fields of tech writing, copywriting, journalism, editorial, support, UX writing, linguistics, editors, English teachers, content moderator or expert AI teachers
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (preferential)
• Have legal documents to work in Portugal (Non-EU candidates must have residence card)
• Availability to join as soon as possible.

• Base salary above average x 14 months
• Meal allowance and health Insurance
• Work shift Monday to Friday (Business hours).
