Hebrew-Speaking Content Moderator

Location: Remote anywhere in Portugal
Compensation:

• Option 1: Gross salary of €1,465 per month with free accommodation (own room in a shared house/apartment, includes allowances in the Lisbon area).
• Option 2: Gross salary of €1,751 per month (if accommodation is not required, includes allowances).

Job Overview

As a Content Moderator, you will ensure that all content posted on social media platforms complies with policies and guidelines. Working within the Hebrew-speaking market, your role will involve evaluating and moderating content to improve the overall user experience. This position requires attentiveness, adaptability, and a strong commitment to upholding platform standards.

Key Responsibilities

Content Moderation

• Review and evaluate content posted on the platform, including videos, comments, user appeals, and titles.
• Determine if content violates platform policies or guidelines and take appropriate action.
• Focus on the Livestream function, particularly ensuring minors do not use the platform inappropriately.
• Handle user-reported content and assess excerpts of flagged videos for compliance.
• Make decisions based on established guidelines to maintain a safe and positive online community.

Policy Compliance

• Ensure all activities align with platform compliance regulations and standards.
• Evaluate sensitive content responsibly, maintaining discretion and professionalism.

User Experience

• Play a critical role in creating a safer and more enjoyable experience for users by moderating inappropriate or harmful content.

Working Conditions

• Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts + a lunch break).
  • Rotational shifts to provide 24/7 coverage.
• Environment: Work remotely from anywhere in Portugal.

Qualifications

Skills Required

• Fluency in Hebrew and proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate content objectively and make sound decisions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
• Emotional resilience and the ability to handle exposure to sensitive or disturbing content.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in content moderation or related fields is an advantage.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their community guidelines.
• Candidates must already have work permission or Portugal ie EU Passport or portuguese residence card.
