Area Sales Representative

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading event management company that is looking to recruit an English speaking Area Sales Representative to join their team.

Position: Area Sales Representative

Location: Remote, anywhere

Employment type: Independent Contractor

Remuneration: Invoicing for your services as an Independent Contractor + commissions

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gain new customers in Western Europe (specifically Germany/Austria) and United Arab Emirates for an event management company providing technical crews and other staff
• Be the first point of contact for customers: get in touch with and build the first relationship with the customer 
• Confirm the first deal with customers and liaise with the customer support team to provide comprehensive service
• Identify and handle all sales opportunities start to close for events of any size
• Join a great team and contribute to building a community within the event management business.

• Native/fluent in English, both oral and written. Fluency in Arabic will be useful if supporting MENA market
• International B2B sales experience is essential - you need to have your own portfolio/network/ability to hit the ground running
• Event industry sales experience (Tech Event Management/Sales) is needed
• Ability to identify sales opportunities
• You will be working as an Independent Contractor and must have the ability to invoice for your services.
