Description

The Hilton Malta is seeking to recruit an Assistant Security Manager to join our Security team on a full-time basis.  The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Security Department, working closely with the Security Manager to support security operations and initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts regular patrols throughout the hotel premises to ensure security and safety
  • Ensures that all fire equipment across the property are in good working condition
  • Keeps track of first aid inventory and ensures its availability
  • Ensures that new team members are well versed in safety and security protocols, including fire response procedures and knowledge of first aid locations
  • Maintains and issues Master cards and Metal keys, ensuring their secure handling
  • Maintains and updates the security manual file with current procedures and protocols
  • Assists in preparing security team member rosters and contributes to end-of-month security reports
  • Assists in the managing of the CCTV data
  • Conducts comprehensive safety and security audits of the entire hotel
  • Collaborates with the Learning and Development Manager in completing the mandatory safety and security training for all team members annually
  • Assists the Security Manager;
    • In achieving complete security management systems in accordance with organisation plans, compliance and adherence to legislation and agreed regulatory bodies’ processes and procedures
    • in performing all duties in compliance with security and company standards
  • Assists with support to all other departments with security related issues
REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

  • Have previous experience working within a Security environment, in a supervisory level or above
  • Be able to solve practical problems quickly and efficiently when the need arises
  • Be able to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs
  • Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have a warm personality, be attentive to details, have a smart appearance with a pro-active attitude
  • Be accountable and resilient
  • Be able to work under pressure
