DESCRIPTION

Location: Greece - work from home

Role: Dutch speaking Assistant Buyer

Salary:  The Basic net salary is 1002 € net/month (plus the additional Christmas, Easter and Holiday bonus). Additional Euro 30 net p/m work from home allowance. + 132 euro net p/m for food vouchers. 

Hours: 40 hrs per week rotational between Mon-Fri between 9.30am-6pm

Our client specialises in everything that has to do with customers and contact. As a Business Process Outsourcer, the client takes over the whole customer chain. With 12000 members and locations in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Morocco, Spain, Greece, Turkey and Suriname, they have a unique combination of customer contact services with tailor made solutions for their clients. We are very excited to recruit Dutch speaking Assistant Buyer for a work from home project in Greece. 

 

The Role

As an Assistant Buyer you will represent a procurement partner, who consolidates purchases and tail-end spending for business clients. You will be responsible for managing the entire Procure to Pay (P2P) process for a portfolio of clients. Your role has two focuses:

 

Procurement:

 

  • Analyze client requirements and specifications to ensure accurate interpretation.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
  • Request and review quotations, negotiating terms on quality, pricing, quantities, payment conditions, delivery timelines, and packaging.
  • Place orders with selected suppliers.

 

Order Management:

 

  • Track orders to ensure accurate and on-time delivery.
  • Proactively resolve any issues that arise with orders.
  • Perform administrative follow-up and update orders within the purchasing software.
  • Manage and process invoices to ensure efficient billing.

 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

 

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written in Dutch
  • Good command of English
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Have an excellent eye for detail
  • Have analytical skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be a plus
