Duty Electrician

A full-time vacancy has arisen within the Engineering Department for the post of Duty Electrician. The person chosen will form part of a small group that are available round the clock all year round and are primarily responsible for the immediate response to any Guest complaint that requires engineering intervention. During the night shift, the person chosen will also do a first intervention on any Engineering related problem that may arise.

The position necessitates a highly motivated individual who will work on his/her own initiative to the highest level of quality within rigorous standards. The ideal candidate must be willing to work shifts, including nights and be in possession of an Electrician’s Licence ‘A’ qualification or equivalent. Other requisites include being computer literate, having basic technical skills, have a smart appearance, be able to work well within a team, flexible and able to adapt to daily changing needs, well organised and willing to learn new skills. A good command of spoken and written English is a pre-requisite, and one other foreign language, although not necessary, would be advantageous.
