Full Stack Java Developer

As a Full Stack developer, you must have knowledge in all stages of software development. You will be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications. The role and responsibilities include managing Java/Java EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.

Responsibilities:

• Contribution to all phases of the development lifecycle,
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code,
• Implementation of security and data protection,
• Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications,
• Prepare and produce releases of software components,
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review,
• Work in an Agile development team,
• Enhance Established Automation framework,
• Assist in production issue resolution

Required skills: 

• 9+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development with Java (8 or higher),
• Experience in developing micro services using Spring Boot,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English,
• Experience with working in Agile and DevOps teams,
• Cloud experience (Azure or AWS).

Nice to have skills: 

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Angular,
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript,
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL / No SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate),
• Experience with test-driven development,
• Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle,
• Experience in CI/CD concepts and with tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
