DESCRIPTION

What You Will Do

Working with cross-functional partners and global and regional S&P teams, the S&P associate will:

  • Create and scale processes to develop key pilots in the region
  • Program manage the annual and long-range financial and operational planning processes. Including ad hoc planning deep dives as necessary
  • Work with Global and Regional Strategic Analytics to facilitate reporting of the Delivery business performance metrics to Uber’s Executive Leadership. This includes understanding and succinctly presenting underlying business drivers and selecting & building appropriate content deep dives
  • Strategically assess and influence the development of each team’s monthly reporting cadence, structure, and material to the leadership team
  • Build a plan to continuously improve the return on investment of executive communication meetings and material across Delivery
  • Drive strategic agenda development and executive storytelling across Delivery internal executive communication and communication to leaders across Uber, including the Executive Leadership Team
REQUIREMENTS

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in consulting, corporate strategy, or other strategic roles
  • Critical Thinking: See and unlock new business opportunities, anticipate business trends, think deep while not losing sight of the bigger picture, and bring a data driven decision making mentality
  • Ambiguous problem solver: Take an ambiguous or sophisticated business problem, resolve an approach to address it, and guide your team to solve the problem
  • Clear Communicator: You are a clear and concise communicator able to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and generate concrete insights.
  • Self-starter demeanor: Being able to operate your team autonomously, propose new insights, drive the thinking, drive the “so what” and solve ambiguous problems will make you much more effective in this role
  • 80/20 attitude: The ability to balance strong attention to detail with swift execution - we need to implement quickly, and do them well. Balancing those can be challenging, and this should be a strength.
