Finally, you can submit your CV and cover letter for review. Upload both documents and the job ad of the position you crafted them for, and ask what improvements could be made.

Write exhaustive prompts - the accuracy of the results depends entirely on the information you provide. If your prompt is too general and lacks necessary details, so will the answer it gives you. Always provide a context, carefully describe your circumstances, and form a clear question.

We don’t recommend using AI to write a cover letter. But we do recommend it to generate ideas for crucial information that should be included, planning, and reviewing it once you write it based on the prompts generated by AI. 


Are recruiters using AI detectors?


Most recruiters can spot an AI-generated CV or cover letter without having to use special technology. The majority claim they don’t mind it when candidates use AI in crafting their application materials because it proves resourcefulness and saves time. 


However, they also appreciate the human touch. Sending AI-generated documents suggests a lack of effort in personalising the contents. Use AI for job search to generate ideas, organise, and review your documents, but not to write them. 


How good is a resume generated by AI?
