German Collections Specialist in beautiful Berlin

DESCRIPTION

As a Collections Specialist, your daily tasks will include the following:

  • Making phone calls and sending emails to customers with overdue payments
  • Negotiating with and motivating customers to settle their debts
  • Interviewing customers to understand reasons for payment delays
  • Constantly monitoring payment agreements and keeping them up to date
  • Finding and updating debtor data (skip tracing)
  • Recording collection activities in computer programs
  • Handling other tasks assigned by your line manager
REQUIREMENTS
  • You speak German at a native level, and English at a B2 level.
  • Experience in Collection is a plus, but a background in customer service is also welcome
  • You have a basic level of computer literacy and can handle various software tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse customers. You're confident, driven, and results-oriented.
  • You are compassionate and into problem-solving, troubleshooting, conflict resolution, and you have strong negotiation skills.
