Position: Insurance Account Manager - German Market

Salary: DOE + performance bonus + annual bonus + excellent benefits
Location: Dublin City – OR – Located Fully Remote in Germany (Travel required)
Role: Permanent
Working hours: Monday to Friday – Standard hours
Work Model: Hybrid – 4 days work from home, 1 day work from office each week (Dublin based)
Overview:
We are seeking a driven and proactive German speaking Account Manager to join a small cohesive European market focused team on behalf of an international financial services company. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the existing partner relationships, support on the development of new products and marketing strategies in your field and be instrumental in driving new business growth and partnerships with credit companies, distributors and banks to enhance the success for the non-life Insurance product portfolio in the German market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage key accounts and develop strong relationships with current clients.
- Understand your clients’ needs and develop new products together with the Underwriting team to meet their business needs.
- Act as client advocates and work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied.
- Assist with making sales, handling client complaints, collecting and analysing data on the market’s commercial activity
- Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
- Ensure that you stay informed of compliance and regulations within a highly regulated sector working closely with the Compliance department as needed.
- Present new business proposals to other departments including Sales & Marketing and support the marketing strategy to roll it out commercially.
- Manage your yearly budgets, planning and ensure that you’re managing your strategic plan in your area of expertise.
- Attend company meetings and work closely with sales and marketing ensuring they are marketing your product proposals effectively and efficiently.
- Support in training across other teams and attend training to keep updated on industry trends.
- Keep abreast of marketing trends, understand changing legalisation and compliance regulations and how it applies to your accounts and all economic factors that will impact your designated area.
- Ensure all documentations is localised into the relevant language.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements for the Role: Minimum 3 years experience
- Fluency in English and German languages.
- Excellent account management experience
- Experience in one or more Financial Services/Insurance Sales/Retail Banking/PPI/Creditors Insurance/Banking sectors
- Educated to degree level and/ or professional qualification in relevant field
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent administration skills including word, PowerPoint and excel.
- Adaptable and Flexible
- Experience working in a multicultural environment working across the German and Irish markets ideally
- Compliance and Regulatory experience from a financial/insurance background
