DESCRIPTION
Role Overview:
As an Account Executive, your day involves managing the full sales cycle, starting with following up on demonstration requests and other marketing-qualified leads. You'll identify key decision-makers, uncover critical business challenges, and generate interest in our solutions. Scheduling and tracking demonstrations are part of your routine, ensuring all activities are well-documented and CRM data remains accurate. Once deals are closed, you'll coordinate a seamless handoff to the Implementation team. Additionally, you'll contribute valuable local market and cultural insights to enrich our inbound marketing efforts, while staying up to date on industry trends and competitive offerings. Depending on the role’s requirements, you may also prospect locally in person or travel as needed, along with handling any other duties assigned.
Important: The training for this position is based in Cape Town (in March). The company covers flights, accommodation and lunches during this period.
REQUIREMENTS
Key skills:
Non-negotiable: Fluent in Germany
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably within the hospitality or technology sectors.
Extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry, especially independent hotel operations.
Product & Industry Expert: You possess deep knowledge of the hospitality industry and convey value propositions with clarity.
