Lead the Transformation of Our Finance Function at a Growing International Recruitment Firm
 

NonStop Consulting, a leading international recruitment company, is seeking a strategic and pragmatic finance leader to drive the transformation of our back office-streamlining operations, embedding automation, and building a scalable, future-ready finance function.

This is a part-time, project-based role-initially requiring 3-4 days per week, then reducing to 3-4 days per month once core systems and processes are established. We're looking for someone who can set up scalable finance infrastructure, embed controls, and champion efficiency, without needing to stay full-time long-term.

We're in the process of streamlining our support functions-especially finance-and building the next phase of our company around operational discipline, intelligent automation, and cost-effectiveness.


The Role

You'll take ownership of the finance function across the group and lead the transition toward a more modern, robust, and tech-enabled structure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee financial operations across all entities (CZ, UK, and others)

  • Ensure compliance with local and international tax, payroll, and reporting requirements

  • Support or manage credit control, contractor finance processes, and cost tracking

  • Deliver timely, clear management accounts to support business decision-making

  • Identify and implement automation opportunities across accounting and reporting

  • Help design a sustainable, low-touch finance function for the long term

  • International tax and transfer pricing

  • Consultancy businesses

  • Czech/English mandatory; French, Italian, or German useful

What You'll Bring

  • Strong finance leadership experience-FD, Financial Controller, or similar

  • Comfort working across multiple jurisdictions and currencies (CZ/UK experience is ideal)

  • Sound understanding of payroll, tax, and compliance (not hands-on but accountable)

  • Proven ability to streamline finance teams and automate processes

  • Independent, pragmatic, and results-driven-comfortable owning a transitional role with decreasing time input over time

Location & Commitment

  • Based in Karlín, Prague - office-based

  • Initial commitment: 3-4 days/week, transitioning to 3-4 days/month

  • Reporting directly to the CEO and working alongside a lean back-office team
