As a result of this, salaries in Germany tend to be considerably higher than other countries on the continent. In addition, youth unemployment in Germany is the lowest in Europe, meaning that there are plenty of opportunities for young people.

Their skill and efficiency is also demonstrated in their sport – especially football, and after their triumph in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, they are the current world champions. This efficiency is what makes them able to work fewer hours during a working day, whilst at the same time, producing more. They work an average of 35 hours per week, which is less than the rest of the continent who work 40 hours on average. Therefore it is not a surprise that they have the leading economy in Europe, and why Germans are so much in demand.

Germany will give you the opportunity to travel and explore on the weekends you have away from the office. Divided into 16 diverse states, the country has something to offer for any taste and preference, from different food and drink specialties to breathtaking picturesque views. In particular, the Black Forest and Bavarian alps should be perfect for any keen hiker and explorer.
One of the key things about your internship is that you need to enjoy it. Tired after a long day at the office? Germans love to celebrate, so all you have to do is go outside and take a look around. From Oktoberfest to carnivals to the famous Rhine in Flames, Germany would always find a way to entertain you after a long working day!
