DESCRIPTION

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will support customers within the payments sector. You will handle a variety of customer enquiries while working with sensitive and financial information and following important security and privacy procedures.

Depending on the area you are supporting, your responsibilities may include assisting customers with lost or stolen credit and debit cards, answering cardholder enquiries, verifying customer identities, identifying potentially fraudulent transactions, blocking or unblocking cards, and handling dispute or claims cases.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide professional customer support via telephone and e-mail.
  • Act as an important point of contact between the customer and the organisation.
  • Assist customers with questions relating to their cards, payments and accounts.
  • Support customers with lost or stolen credit and debit cards.
  • Carry out identity verification and clearly explain any required next steps.
  • Help identify potentially fraudulent transactions and take the appropriate action.
  • Support with the blocking and unblocking of credit cards where required.
  • Handle dispute and claims cases accurately and professionally.
  • Work carefully with sensitive and financial information while following security and privacy procedures.
  • Ensure accurate administrative follow-up of customer cases and incoming requests.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements
  • Native-level Dutch, both spoken and written.
  • Good command of English.
  • Professional level of working and thinking.
  • Previous customer service experience is required.
  • Strong communication skills, with a customer-focused and empathetic approach.
  • Accurate, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable using computer systems and different software applications.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • You live in Comunidad Valenciana or Catalonia.
  • You are able to commit to the project for the full 6-month period.
