At OneForma, we are inviting qualified freelancers to participate in our new remote Natural Language Annotation project.
Purpose:
We are looking for language enthusiasts to help train AI systems that understand human communication. Use your expertise in vocabulary, grammar, and idioms to make AI smarter and more reliable. This is a freelance, fully remote role where you can grow your annotation and data labeling skills, while contributing directly to AI systems that understand human language.
What You Will Do:
As a Natural Language Annotator, you’ll play a key role in helping AI systems better understand how people communicate. You’ll analyze real user inputs and transform them into structured intent annotations that power accurate, reliable AI responses. You’ll complete your tasks using a secure, project-specific annotation tool with guidance and support from an experienced project team.
Location:
Remote. Open to native-level speakers of: Norwegian (Bokmal), Dutch (Netherlands), Danish (Denmark), Swedish (Sweden), Spanish (Spain), Thai (Thailand).
Please note: This project is not available in Spain, China, Russia, Vietnam, Africa
Application process:

- Complete KYC verification on our platform
- Answer a short survey questionnaire to verify qualification criteria
- Pass the OneForma Certification process
- Successfully pass required practice tasks within the client’s annotation tool before beginning production
Payment & Engagement Type:
- Freelance / Project-based
- Rate per hour in USD ($)
- Rates will be shared with qualified candidates during the onboarding process
- Work reviewed for quality before approval before payment
- Payments made via Payoneer

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
- Native Fluency in one of the target languages with a strong knowledge of vocabulary, spelling, grammar, and idioms specific to the regional varieties:
Norwegian (Bokmal)
Danish (Denmark)
Swedish (Sweden)
Dutch (Netherlands)
Spanish (Spain)
Thai (Thailand)
- Availability to contribute 30–50 hours per month
- A strong focus on quality, consistency, and meeting agreed-upon turnaround times
- The ability to spot patterns, anomalies, or recurring issues and escalate them when needed
- Clear, proactive communication with the Project Manager about progress, priorities, and risks
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow project guidelines and specifications
Note: This project focuses on annotating language data sets, so familiarity with the specified regional variety is essential. For example, note that for Spanish (Spain) this differs from other regional varieties such as Spanish Mexican or Spanish Latin American Spanish.
Skills & Technical Requirements:
- Experience in annotation, data labeling, or language-focused projects (1+ year preferred)
- Academic background in Linguistics, Philology, Translation, or related field
- Curiosity about technology and enthusiasm for working with new tools and platforms
- Access to a computer running macOS 11 or later (MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, or equivalent)
