DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Norwegian-speaking Technical Support Specialist to join an international team in Malaga. This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with excellent stability — the team has extremely low turnover — and with the flexibility to combine office and home working once onboarding is complete.
About the role:
The Technical Support Specialist will support customers with smart home security solutions, helping them with product use, troubleshooting, and system navigation. You’ll work across several internal systems at once (training provided), so being comfortable with handling multiple tools on a computer is important. Translation tasks may also be part of the job.
Support is mainly provided through email and chat, and does not normally include phone calls (though this may change in the future).
The position starts office-based in Malaga Technology Park, with the option to move to a hybrid model (3 days in office, 2 from home) after onboarding.
Working hours:
Shifts between 09:00–17:30 or 10:00–18:30, Monday–Sunday. From September, Sundays are expected to be closed (test phase).
REQUIREMENTS
What they are looking for:
- Native Norwegian speaker with good English skills (company language)
- Already living in the Costa del Sol area (safe housing needed in or near Malaga – a car is helpful if living outside the city)
- Customer service background
- Tech-savvy, able to manage different systems and tasks at the same time
- Patient, flexible, and stress-resistant
- Interested in building a long-term life in Spain
