We are looking for enthusiastic people from across Europe to join our team at Eetcafé de Boerderij and Boutique Hotel Faan on Ameland. Whether you are looking for a job for a few months or would like to stay longer: both seasonal and year-round positions are possible.

Depending on your experience and preferences, you can work in:

1. Restaurant / Front of House – serving guests, taking orders and making sure everyone has a great time
2. Kitchen – helping our chefs with preparation, dishes and keeping the kitchen running smoothly
3. Housekeeping at Boutique Hotel Faan – making sure our hotel suites are perfectly clean and ready for our guests It is also possible to combine different types of work.

. ABOUT US Eetcafé de Boerderij is a modern and lively restaurant located in an authentic old farmhouse in the village of Ballum on Ameland. Right next door you will find Boutique Hotel Faan, our small, modern boutique hotel with unique suites. Together, we work hard to give our guests a great experience, but having a good time with colleagues is just as important to us. . WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Experience in hospitality is great, but motivation is even more important. You: • are enthusiastic and ready for a new experience in the Netherlands • are willing to live and work on Ameland • like working with other people • are not afraid of hard work and busy days • can stay positive when things get hectic • are flexible and willing to help your colleagues • have a good sense of humour • can communicate in English • are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands / European Union Experience in a restaurant, kitchen or hotel is a plus, but not always necessary. If you are motivated, we can teach you the rest. . WHAT DO WE OFFER? • A full-time job on Ameland • The possibility of a temporary/seasonal contract or a year-round position • A Dutch employment contract and salary • Approximately 5 or more working days per week • Staff accommodation on Ameland • A staff meal every day • A bicycle you can use on your days off • Lots of work experience in an international environment • Friendly colleagues • And, of course… living just minutes away from the beach!   HOUSING Coming from another country? No problem. We can arrange staff accommodation on Ameland. You will stay in one of our staff accommodations together with other colleagues. The accommodation is within walking distance of your workplace. A staff meal is available every day, including on your days off. And when you want to explore the island, you can borrow a bicycle. Beach after work? Absolutely.   CONTRACT We are looking for both seasonal employees and people who would like to stay with us year-round. Want to come to Ameland for a few months? Great. Looking for a longer-term job and interested in building a life here? We would love to hear from you too. We offer full-time employment, usually 5 days or more per week. The exact start date, length of your contract and working hours can be discussed. You will receive a Dutch employment contract and salary according to the applicable Dutch regulations.   INTERESTED?
