About us Googie’s Babysitting provides a babysitting service in the Austrian resorts of Lech, Oberlech, Zug and Zurs. This service can be provided on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. Childcare Nannies, Ski Instructors and Babysitters

Googie’s Babysitting Agency is looking for Babysitters and Childcare Nannies to work with families in Lech, Oberlech, Zurs and Zug in Austria for evenings, days and whole weeks or sometimes fortnights of work. Guests usually start arriving in the resort in numbers a couple of weeks after the lifts open, really starting at the Christmas week, and there will be work until the end of the Easter week. During peak holiday weeks babysitters will expect to work day and evening, with more time to enjoy the mountains in the quieter weeks. We’re flexible and you can decide for yourself if you’d like to work long or short hours. You need to be reliable, preferably a non-smoker (or very light), positive and outgoing. As you’d expect working with kids’ creativity and a sense of fun are helpful traits. Babysitters work in hotels as well as other forms of accommodation, so there will not always be a playroom available to take the children to – creativity will be a helpful trait. Most families like their children to be taken outside every day to play in the snow, go for walks in the forest, tobogganing, snowman making etc. They are also usually happy – provided they are kept informed – for babysitters to meet up and let “their” children play together.  

Kinderclub

In the Kinderclubs of Lech, Zürs and Oberlech children will be introduced to snow and the joys of skiing in a playful and structured fashion. They are given time to become accustomed to their ski equipment and the snow so that the crossover to ski school is then very easy. We offer highly professional supervision in the three villages of Lech, Oberlech and Zürs. In modern and well-equipped rooms the children will be cared for by our qualified team of Kindergarten teachers and ski instructors. Kinderclub offers a multifaceted weekly programme. The daily routine is clearly structured but also offers children the greatest possible freedom of movement and creativity, including approximately two hours of skiing, free play time and a diverse animation programme. Our employees are responsible for your children during the entire day - skiing, playing and during lunch. If you would like to start working at the Kinderclub, then we do offer you a Ski pass, Accommodations, Meals and of course a competitive wage.  

Requirements  

• EU Passport Holder
• Minimum 1-year previous childcare experience or childcare qualification preferred, but not necessary!
• Outgoing, energetic person with a great sense of creativity
