DESCRIPTION
Account Executive (German-speaking) – Barcelona
Barcelona, Spain
Salary: €24,310 base + up to €4,290 bonus (gross/year)
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you’ll work closely with media and creative agencies to help them grow their clients’ businesses through advertising solutions. You’ll be their main point of contact, guiding them from the first conversation through to a long-term partnership.
This role combines new business development with account management. You’ll build your own pipeline while also working with qualified leads from the BDR team. Your focus will be to understand each agency’s needs, recommend the right solutions, and drive revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
Build your own pipeline through outbound outreach (calls, emails, research)
Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to closing
Present tailored advertising strategies based on client goals
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with agency partners
Understand agency structures, client portfolios, and media planning processes
Run regular performance reviews and identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities
Act as a product expert by sharing updates, best practices, and new features
Keep CRM data (Salesforce) accurate and up to date
Collaborate with the BDR team to improve lead quality and targeting
What We’re Looking For
Native or C2 level German and strong English (C1)
Experience in digital advertising sales or agency-facing roles
Confidence in prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
Experience managing both outbound outreach and existing accounts
Strong CRM skills (Salesforce preferred)
Good understanding of how media agencies work with clients
Familiarity with platforms like Pinterest Ads, Meta Ads, or similar is a plus
Clear communicator who can simplify complex ideas
Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented
