For one of our clients – a leading software development company and award-winning game
provider in the casino industry, creating immersive and innovative gaming experiences as part
of an international tech group, we are on a lookout for confident and energetic people for the
role – Senior CCTV Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Oversee the operation and upkeep of core network components — including firewalls,
switches, and routers — to ensure stable and secure connectivity;
*Design, configure, and maintain High Availability VPNs to ensure continuous, encrypted
communication between multiple sites;
*Work in close coordination with the CCTV systems team to improve network efficiency,
dependability, and system uptime;
*Carry out routine network surveillance and health checks using advanced tools to identify
and resolve issues before they impact service;
*Apply firmware and software updates to network devices on a regular basis to eliminate
security flaws and meet industry standards;
*Develop thorough technical documentation, such as network topology maps and
configuration records, to support troubleshooting and operations.
Requirements:
*A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in network engineering roles;
*Cisco credentials (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) or comparable certifications/training;
*Proficient in TCP/IP, switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning Tree), and routing protocols
(EIGRP, OSPF, BGP);
*Solid understanding of VPN, QoS, and High Availability technologies (VRRP, HSRP, VSS,
vPC, Multichassis EtherChannel);
*Knowledge of network security concepts including IPSec, UTM, DDoS protection, and
Syslog protocol;
*Skilled in packet analysis using tools like Wireshark; Familiar with SNMP, DNS, DHCP,
HTTP, SMTP;
*Comfortable working in Linux environments;
*Experience with virtualization platforms such as ESXi and Proxmox.
