DESCRIPTION
Role: German-speaking Paid Media Data Analyst – Back Office
Location: Lisbon - hybrid (mix of home and office work)
Salary: €26,240 gross p/a plus performance bonus plus benefits and food vouchers and monthly public transport allowance
Relocation package: if relocating - 2,500€ gross relo bonus paid out with 1st salary payment
We’re hiring a German-speaking digital advertising specialist to join a fast-growing multilingual team supporting a Paid Social Ads project for a leading multinational online company. This is a pure back-office role focused on deep campaign analysis and optimization - no direct client calls.
You’ll act as a Subject Matter Expert for diagnosing performance issues and implementing optimization solutions for medium to enterprise-level advertisers in the DACH market, often working with large budgets and complex account structures. Cases can take a few hours to a few days and may involve reviewing large data sets and extensive account documentation to identify what’s going wrong and how to fix it.
What you’ll do
- Analyze and troubleshoot Paid Social Ads performance issues
- Implement optimization solutions, including building and refining campaigns for high-value advertising customers.
- Create keyword packs, bid recommendations, and budget suggestions aligned to advertiser goals.
- Gather and analyze data at both account and campaign level to determine root causes of underperformance.
- Produce clear reports and insights to support recommended strategies and optimization actions.
- Follow structured diagnostic steps to review large volumes of information (sometimes 100–200+ pages of data) and confidently identify where strategy or execution broke down.
- Contribute to team excellence in a professional, modern, fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
What we’re looking for
- Fluent German and strong English
- Experience with paid digital advertising, hands-on setup and optimization.
- Strong analytical mindset: comfortable working through large datasets, patterns, and performance drivers.
- Ability to form a strategy from evidence: identify what went wrong, propose improvements, and explain rationale clearly.
- Able to think in a structured way, take ownership, stay curious, and communicate clearly in writing.
- Background in a digital marketing agency (especially campaign setup + optimization) - big advantage.
- Experience with digital advertising platforms such as Amazon Ads, Google Ads, Meta Ads or similar (transferable performance marketing skills).
- Familiarity with reporting/analysis workflows (e.g., Excel/Sheets at an advanced level; dashboards a plus).
