IHS Application Sales Engineer - Dutch Speaker

DESCRIPTION
A multinational company and global leader in the chemical sector, dedicated to the production and distribution of medical and industrial gases, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.
As an IHS Application Sales Engineer your main responsibilities will be:
⎯ Manage the end to end equipment sales process for our existing customers in the country;
⎯ Achieve all equipment targets set by the business;
⎯ Negotiate with customers prices relating to equipment sales and deal with all enquiries;
⎯ Streamline processes incorporating new technology;
⎯ Be a broader member of the Inhouse Sales team contributing to the growth of the team;
⎯ Work autonomously and be the custodian of equipment sales for the country;
⎯ Document business development and account management within Connect CRM based on defined business rules.
REQUIREMENTS
You are the person we are looking for if you:
⎯ Have previous experience of industrial/sales/Commercial experience in gas industry, chemical/other manufacturing or desired; experience in one market segment or a specific territory;
⎯ Have a bachelor’s degree required in engineering/ technical, sales, marketing or finance (preferable);
⎯ Have a native/high level of Dutch (mandatory), and fluent in English;
⎯ Have customer service and sales experience;
⎯ Have the confidence to negotiate commercial prices with customers;
⎯ Have the ability to be a quick learner and the confidence to make and recommend process change;
⎯ Knowledge and experience using SAP (preferential) and Excel;
⎯ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, process/sales driven environment.
