DESCRIPTION
Workster is partnering with a leading global customer experience company to recruit German-speaking Customer Support Specialists for an international e-commerce platform. You will relocate to Lisbon or Porto, in Portugal, or work remotely based anywhere in Portugal, with the help of an excellent relocation package with permanent accommodation.
If you’re passionate about online shopping, digital platforms, and delivering outstanding customer experiences, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic international team. You’ll support users with their marketplace experience, assisting buyers, sellers, and content creators with order-related inquiries while ensuring fast, professional, and effective resolutions.
Your Role
- Provide customer support via inbound and outbound calls in German and English
- Assist buyers, sellers, and creators with inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and platform services
- Investigate and resolve customer issues by reviewing order and logistics information
- Handle customer requests within established quality standards and service level agreements
- Escalate complex cases to the appropriate internal teams when required
- Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed case records
- Deliver a professional, empathetic, and customer-focused experience throughout every interaction
- Stay up to date with platform features, policies, and e-commerce best practices
REQUIREMENTS
- Native-level fluency in German
- Ability to relocate to Portugal and work from there
- Good command of English
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and online marketplaces
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with strong empathy and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to make sound decisions while working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable handling high contact volumes during promotional campaigns and peak seasons
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
