DESCRIPTION
German Audio Transcription & Data Annotation Specialist
About the Project
Welo Data is looking for attentive and detail-oriented German speakers to support an exciting AI training data project for one of the world's leading voice AI platforms. Your work will help improve how AI systems understand German speech and dialects.
Key Responsibilities
Listen to short, approximately 5-second audio clips and transcribe them accurately.
Follow detailed guidelines for punctuation, formatting, and audio quality.
Identify and flag background noise, cut-off speech, and unclear audio using predefined codes.
Maintain an average task completion time of approximately 125 seconds.
Work independently while consistently meeting quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
Native or near-native fluency in German.
Strong written German skills, including punctuation and sentence structure.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to follow detailed guidelines consistently.
Reliable computer, high-quality headphones, and stable internet connection.
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Previous experience in transcription, data annotation, or similar work is an advantage but not required.
Ability to commit 10–20 hours per week for the duration of the project.
